Everything was completely perfect. All the "extra's" were waiting for us when we arrived. Chilled wine and fruit, snacks in the kitchen, soft music, fireplace,...it was perfect. VERY isolated. We didn't see another person the entire time we were there and that is exactly what we wanted. Hot tub, fire pit, directly by the creek, surrounded by beautiful woods, amazing wildlife,...all of it was simply perfect. We will go here time and time again. Guaranteed!
Room Tip: We stayed in the Creekside and it was perfect. But they all look beautiful.

“Perfection in the woods”

My husband and I stayed at the Creekside cabin in May for our Honeymoon, and our experience was perfect.

Even before we began our vacation Lise was always on hand to help with any questions we may have had and sent some tips on places to eat/visit during our stay.
The cabin itself was in a secluded woodland and for us felt like a world a way from civilization and a chance to unwind (only 8 miles away from town) after a busy few weeks. The cabin is beautiful from the inside out and spotlessly clean. Lise had added some wonderful touches for our arrival such as Prosecco to welcome us as well as music playing in the background and a smores kit.
I loved how nectar was left in the fridge to fill the hummingbird feeder up when it was empty. My husband and I enjoyed a few afternoons after a long walk sitting in the hot tub waiting for Paul ( we named the hummingbird) to fly by for some food.

If you wanted to have a relaxing day at the cabin without having to drive out, there is a small 1 mile walk you can make to the Treehouse cabin (loops round) which is worth it if you don't want to leave the cabin but fancy stretching your legs.

I fell in love with this cabin and only hope one day we can experience this little slice of paradise again- Thanks to Lise and all her team for making our stay perfect!

“A gem in the Smokey Mountains - Creekside Cabin”

As we rounded the bend to the cabin we were met with a beautiful setting; a Lovely Cabin nestled into the trees with a bubbling creek. Just Beautiful. And the interior was just as perfect; beautifully appointed and clean. Very romantic. We spent four perfect days there and really never wanted to leave. It rained most of the time, and we did not care. The screened in porch gave us the greatest viewing spot to admire the fall colors and listen to the gentle rain and the creek under our feet. We found our new favorite!

This makes our second visit to creekside cabin and enjoyed it as much as the first time. We were there the week of oct 18th the leaves were changing and the mountains were beautiful.
I needed a chance to relax after working sometimes 7 days a week and creekside is the perfect place for it. The creek, the hot tub absolute privacy.

The care and thoughtfulness of the owners was evident from start to finish. Exceeded our expectations. You had multiple areas to sit and hear the creek, even from the hot tub! I remember sifting through all the cabin rentals and discovering the #1 rating held by Stonecreek Cabins and thinking, how do you get this good. After reading dozens of reviews of all the properties, Creekside seemed the obvious choice for our honeymoon getaway. Private. That best describes this location. Very cute and immaculately decorated in every detail. We so enjoyed the breakfast nook and hot tub. I think if we didn't have to trek out for food, we would have never left. Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge were crazy with traffic, maybe more so because it was some folks Spring Break. We didn't think about that. However, the perfect weather, probably the best week of spring the area had seen so far, made up for the insanity in the city. We walked the property nearby and enjoyed the sound of the running creek water all day and night . We truly loved our privacy and seclusion. Only once did we see some folks from a nearby cabin wandering in the woods above our place and they kind of freaked out and turned back when they saw us. Lise was great to work with through email and was available if we needed her by phone. We didn't need a thing really the whole time we were there. We basically did what honeymooners do (no explanation needed)! No interruptions were appreciated.There were also very special treats when we arrived that were greatly appreciated. No doubt, we will go back one day. Hopefully soon!

Over the past 10 years I have been coming to Creekside and I have to say , this is the Best place to stay in the Smokey Mtns. And I have stayed at many over a span of 25 years. It's peaceful, secluded, and with the window open , awakening to the sound of water rushing down the creek is unforgettable . The owners always make your trip memorable, if there is a birthday , anniversary.. They make it special. Over the years they have renovated, and improved on the property. They are always there if a problem should arise. If you have read past reviews you will see why they are the #1 place to stay when your visiting the Great Smokey Mts. They book up very fast so you will need to plan ahead and book early.

My wife and I chose the Creekside cabin as our honeymoon retreat and we could not have been more impressed with the accommodations. We contacted Lise six months before our stay and she was very helpful in answering all of our questions about the cabin and the surrounding area. Creekside is halfway between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, but situated away from the busy areas just outside of the arts and crafts community, which makes getting anywhere very convenient. We spent very little of our time stuck in traffic thanks to Lise and her handy back road advice. She made us feel comfortable about calling her any time if we had a question.
More about the Cabin! It’s absolutely beautiful, peaceful, cozy, rustic, and any other wonderful adjective you can think of. It’s one of the nicest places I’ve vacationed in and for the price you can’t beat it! The service really sets this one apart. After driving down your private driveway and walking through the front door on your screened porch, you almost go into sensory overdrive with all of the wonderful things that catch your eye. The lights are dimmed perfectly, there’s a chilled bottle of wine on the table with a personalized welcome card, music is playing on the flat screen TV above the glowing fireplace, and everything comes together to make you feel warm and calm. A welcome cake and s’mores with the biggest marshmallows you’ve ever seen await you in the FULLY STOCKED kitchen. You don’t need to bring anything with you except for food. Don’t worry about going to a laundry mat either because it also has a high end washer and dryer. Creekside really does feel like home, or really, the home you wish you could build if you had a few extra acres and a stream. If you’re on the fence about where to stay, consider Stonecreek Cabins. You won’t be disappointed!
Room Tip: Creekside is in a small valley on a stream. It doesn't get much sun so you're sure to stay...

“Heaven on Earth”

My mother and I stayed at the Creekside Cabin on September 25 and 26. I could go on for two pages about how wonderful this place is, however, I will sum it up quickly. It's absolutely, totally perfect.

What I do want to spend some time on is the owner, Lise. My mother and I were driving from Memphis and at the last minute decided to visit Gatlinburg. I discovered the cabins here on Trip Advisor. I called at approximately 5 pm and asked if they had anything available for that night for two nights. Fortunately for us, they did. However, as no one was scheduled to come in for a couple of days, the cabin hadn't been cleaned. Lise asked us if she could check with the woman who cleans the cabins and call us right back. Now remember, this is 5 pm. More than likely dinner time for the cleaning woman. We get a call back promptly with the fabulous news that the woman was able to come in and clean (bless her!) and the cabin was ours. We told Lise we'd be there in a couple hours. She provided us with great directions and we arrived with no problems. When we pulled into the cabin, it was beautifully lit with colorful lights as well as all the outdoor lights on the decks and by the creek. It was so welcoming and a beautiful sight to see after a long day of driving. When we went inside, there was music playing, a fire in the fireplace, sparkling cider on ice, a cake in the fridge with a personalized note, a bag of popcorn, the fixings for s'mores and candies on our pillow. The cabin was immaculately clean and just perfect. You would think they'd been expecting us for days, not a matter of hours. Lise could not possibly have been more accommodating with our last minute request. If I could give this place and Lise 10 stars, I would. This was our first visit, but it won't be our last!

Due to my children's activities our previous vacation plans changed last minute. We still had four days of vacation time left, enough time for a short trip and decided to take a chance if one of their cabins was available for a couple of nights. To our good fortune Creekside was available.

I am a single mother with two teenagers. We could have not been not been more delighted and positively surprised with the Creekside Cabin! It was cozy, clean, inviting and in a beautiful, secluded setting, just wonderful inside and out. Not only did we enjoy the cabin and amenities inside, we also had a great time exploring the creek around the cabin, hiking the trails, and with the sounds of nature, you can not help but be relaxed. My children were content hanging out at the cabin with mom - that's how awesome this place is!

Not only is Creekside remarkable, Lise, the owner, was so helpful with her assistance....talking with me regarding directions to avoid traffic, arrival time, assistance with children's preferences and she even called to check on us during a rain storm one of the evenings we were in town!! I have never stayed anywhere with as much attention, care and concern regarding accommodations. It would have been lovely to stay longer, but for our few short days we had an incredible time.

Again first class owners for a first class location. Thank you SO MUCH!!!

Strangely enough we also celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary at the cabin (Lise and Sue must have been laughing about that!!)

But, what more can you say that has nor already been said.

Its a fantastic cabin in a fantastic position which is decorated and furnished with immense thought. The owners are just a phone call away and will help with anything that you may need.

You already know from the reviews that you are in for a treat. Soft lights, music, cakes and wine are just for starters. The cabin is wonderfully clean, the bed is comfortable, bath and shower work fine and the hot tub....well there are few places on this earth that you can walk in the mountains, see bears and deer, grab some food and beers and wine, go back to a cabin as wonderful as this, eat, drink and then sit in a hot tub ( not necessarily in that order :-) ) directly over a stream with the birds singing for company. Unbelievable, we could not wait to get back each night.

Enjoyed breakfast in yet another seating area in the garden every morning. The weather was good and this obviously contributed towards the time that we had there.

Gatlinburg is about a 20 minute drive away and there are plenty of decent restaurants in the area. But you really will want to eat at the cabin :-) Also the Visitors Centre is about 10 minutes drive away and they will give you plenty of information about the surrounding area. We done some lovely walks to waterfalls.

Highly recommended, book early and go, We are from the UK and cannot wait to book again. A wonderful vacation experience.

“Beautiful, serene, and private”

We spent our 30th wedding anniversary at the Creekside cabin. It was everything we could have hoped for.
The drive into the cabin was a little overwhelming to a flatlander from Michigan. I quickly adjusted to the roads though, especially after Lise and Sue offered suggestions on which routes to take.
Our first glimpse of the cabin confirmed for us that we had chosen wisely. The pictures on the website accurately portrayed the cabin and surrounding areas, but yet just could not capture how truly beautiful the setting is. And the quiet....the sounds of water, bull frogs, and birds instead of traffic? Umm, yes please ♥
Inside, we found beautiful fresh cut flowers, wine, chocolates, and a cake left by our gracious hosts in celebration of our anniversary.
Other treats included s'mores makings, which we put to good use when we enjoyed the outside fireplace and the firewood that had been provided.
The hot tub was a big bonus, and it was wonderful to soak after hiking through the national park. I am pretty sure we were in that tub every day.
We also made use of the outdoor grill, and since the weather was really warm, using the grill helped keep the cabin cooler.
There were clear instructions posted to assist with using the air conditioning/heating unit, TVs and DVD players, and fireplace. Lise and Sue were also just a phone call away and encouraged us to call with any questions.
We did not use the jetted tub inside, but the shower worked fine.
The king sized bed upstairs was extremely comfortable. There was plenty of closet space, and a few drawers for clothes as well.
There were so many little extras that I had not expected to find: iron/ ironing board, blow dryer, washer/dryer, crockpot, even a blender!
But, my favorite part is not seeing another building or hearing anything but the sounds of nature, and yet being
only about 8 miles from downtown Gatlinburg.
Highly recommend a stay in this cabin.

We stayed for a week in September . It is the best place we have ever stayed in Gatlinburg area and we have been to the area many times. Attention is given to every detail. It is quiet, peaceful, relaxing serenity defined. Would go back in a heartbeat - can't wait to be able to visit again. Wonderful place to take a walk every day and still stay on the grounds. Creek is wonderful and so relaxing. You won't want to leave the cabin area, even to go to all the great places around the area

We stayed at the Creekside Cabin and the word "Perfect" doesn't do it justice. Lise made it a perfect stay with her special touches. Incredible! Lise's special touches make it so perfect. These people care about you and will care for you. No accident they are rated #1. Absolutely secluded. Cabin is cozy.. Great for a couple's getaway.
Room Tip: I am sure the other cabins are great also, but we stayed in the Creekside.

My wife and I stayed in the Creekside Cabin for 3 days in May 2017. The location is very private but a short drive down some twisting and turning backcountry roads brings you right into downtown Gatlinburg or a back way to Pigeon Forge. We enjoyed the outdoor hot tub after hiking each day in Great Smoky Mt. Park (about a 20 min drive to the park entrance from the Cabin). The Cabin itself is cozy, very clean and welcoming. It has a small full kitchen; cozy nook eating area; one downstairs bathroom with shower, tub, toilet and clothes washer and dryer. Very comfy bed and TV upstairs and another large flat screen TV and living room area downstairs. Outside you've got the woods and a soothing, babbling brook running under the front porch. There's also a nice fire pit area with chairs, small barbecue, and hammock. The owners are friendly and delightful to deal with. When you arrive there are a number of "extra" personal touches (packets of oatmeal, S'more ingredients, wine, coffee) - to welcome you and start your stay off right! I've already recommended and raved about this special place to my friends and neighbors.

My husband and I were lucky enough to honeymoon at the Creekside cabin 6 years ago and it has been the standard we hold every other vacation spot to ever since. We honestly did not think it could get any better than it was but it has!

In the 6 years since we first visited, there have been many upgrades to improve the cabin. This was very surprising to me as most vacation rentals we have stayed at around the country, while nice, are definitely intended to be cheaply maintained to improve income. Not so at the Creekside! There is a new heating and central air system installed at the cabin which made the temps comfortable and was whisper quiet. Also, the deck has been completely redone. You can really tell the attention to detail and care that has gone into updating and maintaining the cabin.

This is the most peaceful, well appointed cabin you can imagine. One amazing thing about this cabin and it's owners is how much they truly care about your visit. EVERY single thing is taken care of: multiple written directions to cabin and from the cabin to attractions, beautiful scenery and setting, a cabin that truly feels like "home" while you are there, a chilled bottle of wine waiting for your arrival, DVDs for a rainy day, and much more! Our favorite thing to do was sit each evening in the hot tub, listening to the creek run underneath us, and watch the wild turkeys come out to eat. It was truly magical!

One other thing to note: while out of the way and secluded, it is only a short drive to civilization. The cabin is just a short drive to the Arts and Crafts loop, grocery and liquor stores, and restaurants. Literally the best of both worlds.

If you are looking for a place to make romantic memories with your loved one, or just looking for some peace and quiet away from the attractions, then I would highly recommend the Creekside!
